Researchers from University of Alabama in Canada discovered that there is protein resulted from contacting between eggs and stomach enzymes. That protein mimic the action of lowering blood-pressure drugs.
That result just came after nutrionist presented that the type of cholesterol found in eggs has effect to decrease the risk of heart disease.
There is lot of benefits for consumption an egg. The study confirmed with daily consumption at least one egg may prevent macular degeneration that make our eye healthy and lowering the risk of cataracts.
The coline nutrient from egg also could helps regulate the nervous system, brain and cardiovascular system.
And much more such as prevent breast cancer, making hair and nails healthy, and source of vitamin D.
An egg have fat but from 5 grams fat in one egg, only 1.5 gram un-saturated, said researcher.
With moderate consumption, it doesn’t have negative impact on cholesterol. In fact, it can improve lipid profile the person.
“The ingrained misconception linking egg consumption to high blood cholesterol and heart disease must be corrected”, said Prof Bruce Griffin, researcher from The University of Surrey.
“Public don’t have to be limiting the number of eggs they eat. They can be encouraged to include them in a healthy diet as they are one of nature’s most nutrionally dense foods,”said Prof Bruce Griffin.
