Dental implants procedure with the types and recovery times including pain risk and cost estimation

Dental implants procedure is attaching procedure of artificial teeth to the underlying jawbone with titanium screw, both in single tooth or more by dentists.

The procedure of implantation is through surgery, and may need dental imaging of orthopantomographs or periapical views both anterior and posterior teeth before surgery, including CT scan.

The type of the procedures based on diameter dental implants needed, which were small implants or mini implants used for a diameter less than 3 mm, and conventional implants or full implants for a diameter larger than 3 mm.
The pain of this procedure considered less or even no pain as they used anesthesia to counter this issue.

Overall, the recovery time after dental implants procedure is varies, but around 2 months to 6 months for possibility of vigorous exercise being barred.

Although this procedure is categorized surgical procedure, however, overall cost of dental implants procedure itself is not extremely expensive and may have varying between $1,500 to $5,000.
