Despite each type of surgeries may have some complications, such as infection, hemorrhage, hernia, bowel obstruction, venous throboembolism, gallstones, nutritional deficiencies, nerve complications, and even death, including expensive cost around $20,000 to $30,000, these bariatrics
surgery, effectively to treat health problems related to obesity and morbid obesity based on current guidelines related to body mass index requirement (adults with BMI of 40 kg/m2 or higher, BMI of 35 kg/m2 or higher for adults with additional risk factors, and BMI of 30 to 40 kg/m2 plus additional risk factors who fail treated with exercise and dietary intervention, including pharmacotherapy).
