Over one million women in the united states develop vaginal yeast infection (vaginal candidiasis) each year.
Tough it is not life-threatening, but it can be uncomfortable and frustrating

Candidiasis is an infection caused by a species of yeast candida, usually candida albicans.
It’s common cause of vaginal infections in woman.
Also, it may cause mouth infections for people with reduced immune function or patients whose taking certain antibiotics.

Recently, several serious categories of candidiasis have become more common due to overuse of antibiotics, rise of AIDS, increase in organ transplantations and use of invasive devices (catheters, artificial joints and valves).
All of these which increase a patient’s susceptibility to infection.
