Deposition crystal of urate or uric acid in the blood may lead to inflammatory arthritis. This medical condition called Gout.
Commonly the risk of Gout are leads to renal failure, spinal cord impingement, joint damage, coronary artery disease and hypertension.
However from recent study, women who had Gout may lead to risk of Acute Myocardial Infarction (40%) even have no history about Ischemic Heart Disease before.
Dr. Mary A De Vera from Boston University School of Medicine, MA, and colleagues said, “the magnitude of risk associated with gout may actually be higher in women than in men.”
From the population-based cohort study, this founding have significant result that the women higher risk for Acute MI than the men.
Dr. Vera conclude, “These finding provide support for the aggressive management of cardiovascular risk factors for male and female patients with gout.”
