About Cervical Cancer

One of deadly cancer and many causalities each year for women is cervical cancer.

What is cervical cancer?

Cervical cancer is a cervix cancer that occurs due to abnormal growth of cells on the cervix with changes to become cancerous cells take in a long time, about 10-15 years.

This cancer usually occurs in women over the age range of 30′s – 50′s, the peak reproductive age women that will lead to impaired quality of physical life, psychological, and sexual health.

Cervical cancer is caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). These virus is oncogenic (cancer causing).

HPV is transmitted through sexual contact and concurrent use of personal goods, such as towels and clothing.
This virus is very resistant to heat and drying process.

Risk factors of cervical cancers

- Married at a young age.
- Smoking.
- Long-term oral contraceptive use.
- Frequent pregnancies.
- Sexually transmitted diseases.

The frightening of this disease is a the disease doesn’t causes symptoms, so that we can’t detect it, unless doing medical check.

If the condition of cancer entering quite serious stage, the symptoms include:

- Bleeding from the vagina.
- Incidence of vaginal discharge mixed with blood and smelled.
- Pelvic pain and disruption and even can not urinate.

Cervical Cancer Treatments

In medicine, vaccination is popular treatment in preventing and treating cervical cancer. The vaccine even can be administered from the age of 10 years as a preventive treatment, besides the use of condom.

In homeopathic medicine, since this disease caused by HPV infection, and therefore the use of thuja occidentalis, baptisia tinctoria, antimony crudum, causticum, and nutricum acidium are very effective against this strain.

For women who often or have ever had sexual intercourse, it would be advisable to do a pap smear or visual inspection to detect early whether the symptoms of cervical cancer already exist in them.
