Getting coverage insurance during pregnancy is important. Moreover current prenatal visiting may cost above $5,000.
Obtaining health insurance coverage for the women are more fragmented than those of men, furthermore that pregnant women had risk to maternal morbidity during pregnancy episodes.

However for low income family, it’s suggested to visit federal public health insurance such as medicaid program or local DSHS for appropriate insurance policy during and after pregnancy such as birth control and free baby health care for certain year.

Major private insurance not allowed for pregnant women to have individual coverage except after the birthing. However if pregnant women still active employee then she may check her health group plan for maternity coverage as federal stated “Federal law bars group health insurance plans that cover maternity from considering pregnancy a pre-existing condition.”
This meaning same where the pregnant women change her group health plans as long as they coverage maternity.
