Many people skeptic how useful of the yoga to maintain and improve overall body condition. 
But, too many study showed how this practice could really do that.
A recent study showed yoga that stresses body alignment can support maintain people with lower back pain.
The data showed with 90-minutes classes week, and who were encouraged to do 30 minutes a day on other days, for 24 weeks, the result reported:
- 29% less disability
- 42% less pain
- 45% less depression compaired with people who did not do yoga.
Kimberly Williams from West Virgina University showed the data and supported by the National Institutes of Health.
She recommend people with had chronic back pain to do yoga practice or find certified teacher related to yoga and if could involve the health care provider to see the progress of their lower back pain improvement.
