This gland that found only in men surrounds the urethra, that is an urine flow channel from the bladder to the tip of penis.
This gland play an important role in reproduction process, which is producing most of fluids that mixes with sperm to form semen.

Over the age, the growth of prostate can cause narrowing of urethra.

The rising percentage of narrowing urethra is only about 1% at age 30 years and rose dramatically to 50% at age 60 years.

Enlarged prostate can close to 90% of urinary tract in men aged 80 years, and can be completely closed at the age of 90 years due to the prostate continue urges urinary tract.

The ‘lucky man’ will not experience a narrowing of urethra when the growing of prostate doesn’t move toward to urinary tract.
However, this is natural process likes gray hair, and this process can’t be prevented in any way.

There are many problems related to the prostate, from inflammation, enlargement, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), until cancer.

Therefore, before prostate problems become complicate such as occurrence of urinary tract infections, bladder stone formation, can not urinate, hernia, hemorrhoids, and impaired renal function or etc., it is essential to start a prevention or early treatment, starting from healthy diet and lifestyle, and have an early diagnosis when the symptoms of prostate problems began to be felt.
