Whooping cough risk in asthma patients
Generally, whooping cough or known as Pertussis caused by certain bacteria that causes infection in the respiratory system. However, recent studies have found that if asthma patients are also at risk of whooping cough. This was discovered after researchers from the Mayo Clinic's Rochester investigated pertussis cases which is about 37.8% occurred in asthma patients.
